We’re back! We hope this notice finds you and your family in good health. All of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines, but many things have changed. Our office has put in place new protocols based upon current recommendations and guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). These processes are meant to limit transmission of all diseases in our office and are necessary to keep patients and the team safe. Some changes to scheduled appointments may be required as we work through the logistics of managing these guidelines. These will allow greater time between patients, reduced traffic flow, and help maintain social distancing. This may mean you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself and family members with the new protocols before you arrive for dental care with us.
We feel it is important for you to know that all team members are asked the same questions and their temperature is taken daily. Employees experiencing any symptoms or at an increased risk will not come into the office to work. We are frequently cleaning common areas, doorknobs, elevator buttons, handrails, etc. You will also notice additional barriers throughout the office for your protection.
These protocols will be updated if mitigation strategies change to reflect new information concerning disease infectivity. Despite these steps to make dental treatment comfortable and safe, there is still a chance that you could be exposed to an illness while in our office, just as you might in the grocery store, at your favorite restaurant, or at the gym.
Thank you for trusting us with your dental care. We value your loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, relatives, neighbors, and friends. Please give our office a call if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you!
