1.  If you are ill, have associated with anyone who is ill, have traveled outside the area to places of high community infection, have tested positive for infection, are coughing or sneezing, have a sore throat or fever, new body aches, fatigue, or difficulty breathing, you will be rescheduled. 
2. Contact us at least a day ahead to confirm your appointment. Some health screening questions will be asked at that time. When you arrive for your appointment, please remain in the parking lot and call or text to let us know you have arrived. You will be allowed to enter the office when we are ready to seat you. Do not bring extra family members or friends to your appointment – driver and patient only. If you desire, you can “fast-track” your payment by phone to reduce check-out time at the business desk. Do not bring food or beverages into the building.
3. You will need to bring a facemask to enter and travel through the office. Before entering the office, your temperature will be recorded (rescheduling will be necessary if you have a fever or show any signs consistent with illness).  You will also be asked to use a pre-procedural mouth rinse and hand wash. We will again confirm some health screening questions with you. 
4. Please refrain from touching your mouth, teeth, face, or eyes while undergoing treatment. Hand hygiene is required; hand soap and alcohol sanitizer are available to use throughout the office. Cough and sneeze etiquette are required; tissues are also available throughout the office. 

We feel it is important for you to know that all team members are asked the same questions and their temperature is taken daily. Employees experiencing any symptoms or at an increased risk will not come into the office to work. We are frequently cleaning common areas, doorknobs, elevator buttons, handrails, etc. You will also notice additional barriers throughout the office for your protection.

These protocols will be updated if mitigation strategies change to reflect new information concerning disease infectivity.  Despite these steps to make dental treatment comfortable and safe, there is still a chance that you could be exposed to an illness while in our office, just as you might in the grocery store, at your favorite restaurant, or at the gym.
