At our practice, we prioritize making your dental experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. When a patient is anxious or nervous, we take the time to go slowly, listen, and understand their needs to create a more comfortable environment. Sometimes, this means not performing any dental work during the first visit. Instead, we might offer a tour of the office, allow the patient to sit in the dental chair without any procedures, or simply have a conversation to build trust.
We understand that visiting the dentist can be traumatic and anxiety-inducing for some. For instance, we once had a patient who was so anxious they couldn't leave their car during their first visit. One of our nurses went out to the car to comfort them, and once they felt at ease, we brought them inside.
To further ensure your comfort, we offer nitrous oxide sedation. However, many of our patients have found that they no longer need nitrous oxide after experiencing the level of comfort and care we provide. For those who still prefer it, nitrous oxide remains an available option.
Most dentists might not take these extra steps because there is no immediate financial gain, but for us, your comfort and peace of mind are our top priorities. We are committed to putting our patients in the most comfortable position possible, ensuring a positive and supportive dental experience.
